Hongqi Debuts at The Singapore Motorshow 2026
Hongqi made its regional debut at the Singapore Motorshow 2026, unveiling the all-electric E-HS9 alongside the ceremonial Golden Sunflower range — Guoli and Guoya — in a statement of intent for the marque's arrival on the world stage.
The centrepiece of Hongqi's stand was the E-HS9, the brand's six-seat, all-electric flagship SUV, shown in Glacier White and Starry Lake Blue finishes. Visitors were invited to sit inside the cabin and experience the ventilated, massaging seats and panoramic skylight firsthand — details the brand says are core to its New Nobility philosophy.
Flanking the E-HS9 were two Guoli and Guoya models finished in the marque's signature Golden Sunflower livery, a nod to Hongqi's ceremonial heritage and ongoing role as the vehicle of state occasions in China.
A platform for the region
The Motorshow appearance follows the appointment of Eurokars Group as Hongqi's official distributor for Singapore, and comes as the brand extends its footprint into new markets across the region, including Nepal.
Show visitors were briefed on the E-HS9's headline figures — up to 492 bhp, 570 km of WLTP range, and a 0–100 km/h sprint of 5.5 seconds — alongside its Level 2.0 intelligent driving suite and ultra-high strength steel battery protection.
What comes next
Hongqi says the Motorshow debut is the first of several planned regional activations for 2026, with test drive events and showroom experiences to follow in each new market as the brand builds out its dealer and service network.
